GPS has become the global consumer standard in satellite navigation over the past decade, reducing the need for awkward oversized maps and arguments with back seat drivers about whether to turn left or right.

Now with the launch of the Soyuz from French Guiana, on the northern coast of South America, marks the maiden voyage of the Russian rocket outside the former Soviet Union, with European and Russian authorities cheering at liftoff.

You and your company can now start to take advantage of this by listing your commercial establishment for inclusion on our database that will be searchable by consumers around the world.

Imagine visiting a town either on business or for personal reason and needing directions to a fast food outlet or a bank, police station, hardware store etc, then just as a user would search for a road or street they will be able to search for a branded name, product or service then only outlets who register on our database will be shown in the search results.

Already hailed as the “Holly Grail for advertising” companies, such as yours, can register for as little as 1 Euro for the initial trial run.

Global shipments of GPS-enabled handsets increased by 92% in 2010 to 150 million units and further forecasted to reach 770 million units in 2014.

Register your business for inclusion on the GPSLocals Official Global Database.

When the Global Positioning System (GPS) was originally designed and implemented for military reasons no one could have envisaged the use of GPS devices for personal purposes.

Using the system for personal navigation has become a trend and as this trend integrates with the internet and mobile phone technologies, plans are in motion to ensure the current internet problems are NOT duplicated on the GPS system with multiple listings and out of date information sending users to places that are closed, moved or long since gone out of business !

There is no “buying” top listings or paying for adverts and no false ranking and manipulated results just simple search results in distance order from where you are.

Clean simple and the way it should be.

GPS Locals will be registering and indexing information for the interoperable database that can be kept updated and used as an interface for GPS users to search for POI’s (Points of Interest) as well as the new service of locating Products, Brands and Services ensuring they are correct, factual and up to date.

The GPS Locals system will work in conjunction with;

United States Department of Defence – NAVSTAR-GPS
IRNSS of India
The Russian GLONASS system
The proposed COMPASS navigation system of China – Beidou-1
And the up and coming European GALILEO POSITIONING SYSTEM

The compiled data can be used by ALL GPS device manufacturers and will also be available for download to update old devices in circulation, Free of charge.

Addresses for places with a commercial interest can submit their details to be included on the system enabling the device users to then search for Products, Services and Brands…….

“Although it has been greatly appreciated by many organisations relying on the general public and industry to upload any reference points for other GPS users to download, this has soon created an out of date and not factually correct log, currently available from various websites all holding different information. The concept of GPS Locals is to bring a semblance of order creating one official database for GPS users to access free of charge.

Having only one entry per unique postal reference keeps the database clean. Charging a small annual administration fee of just 1 Euro enables GPS Locals to keep the information constantly updated, this also gives validation to each entry.
